- Create a Guest List: As with any important
event, create a list of the family members that will be invited.
- Form a Reunion Committee: Let other members
of your family participate in coordinating the family reunion.
Put someone in charge of the travel arrangements, activity schedules,
and the finances.
- Select the Dates and Reserve a Location: Choose
a date that is at least three months out so that your guests will
be able to attend. Once everyone has agreed on a date, reserve
a location as soon as possible.
- Family Genealogy: Remember to ask each member
of your family to bring information they may have about your family’s
history. During the reunion, family members can organize a scrapbook
to commemorate the special trip.
